French Style Chef's Knife
This is a really unique blade that I forged from 1.25” round W1 tool steel. This is a French style chef with a wide heel for on the board cutting and good finger clearance. The handle is sculpted African blackwood with a peened brass pin and an heirloom fit construction. The bolster area has been left thicker to be part of the handle and I left the texture from forging in the bolster which gives a very tactile feel to the handle. This is a statement piece for the kitchen and good for all kinds of cooking cutting tasks.
