Bamboo Tanto EDC
I have really been loving the Japanese style lately for my knives. This is the crossover of my traditional western style mixed with the shape and aesthetic of the Japanese tanto knives. The blade is hand forged from 80CrV2 carbon steel and it has been ground with a compound hollow/convex grind so the body of the blade is hollow ground giving a slicing thin edge with a really sturdy convex ground tip. The handle is really unique. It has a black burlap micarta with bamboo wrapped around it which provides a really nice Japanese aesthetic but also makes it extremely tactile and grippy. I have made a leather sheath with a custom border pattern and a Ulticlip attached to the back for pocket carry or to clip to your backpack or just on the outside of your pants. This is an extremely unique edc knife to have for your everyday cutting tasks.
