This little knife is made from W1 tool steel, and has a Hamon finish. A hamon is a traditional Japanese technique for heat treating and finishing their blades that would give more ductility to the spine of the blade while keeping a very hard edge. The handle is a beautiful figured walnut that looks like a feather.
