I forged this knife from 80CrV2 completely to shape and just ground the edge to leave most of the evidence of the forging in the blade. The cutting edge is a an inch longer than the Wenge Brut making it 12” long which gives lots of forward weight making it great for cutting your way through the bush and general chopping/cutting tasks around the camp sight. You can see all the hammer marks in the bevels. The handle is made from black G10 with Carbon Fiber liners and pinned with 1/8” copper pins. The handle is oversized giving it plenty of room in the handle so it is comfortable when chopping.
