Whiskey River Outpost (Sold Out)
This is a really unique San Mai Outpost. Bourbon Distilleries use charred white oak to store their bourbons and give them a smoky flavor and when they are done with the barrel you end of with the left over staves that still have that beautiful charring. I used the charred bourbon barrel stave for the handle with screws, and a leather tassel with a handmade bronze bead. When you grind the wood you can smell the bourbon. It is a very pleasant experience. Trust me! The blade is made from stainless San Mai (410ss/80CrV2) with a contrast etch to reveal the hardened core. I have also added a bronze bead for easier pull and to complete the old world feel.
