Ivy Chopper
This is one of those projects where I really wanted to push myself to do something I haven't done before and make it a bit different than what I have seen others make. The result is a giant integral chopper with a chaotic hamon with the integral bolster set into a beautiful piece of African Blackwood. The Blackwood has been stippled on the top where it transitions to the bolster and has been hand carved with ivy vines on each side of the handle pinned with a 1/4" copper pin that has been peened in place. I am extremely happy with the performance of this knife. If you look back at a recent post on instagram of me chopping a log with it you will see why. It is not just a pretty piece of art but is also very functional.
It will come with a matching leather sheath.
