This is a really unique hatchet with a pronounced beard, flat pole, and swept edge. It has a 2lb head with a 3 3/4" bit. The head is forged from 1045 high carbon steel which is a classic axe steel that provides a great balance of toughness and hardness for chopping and bushcraft work. The 10 3/4" wood handle is hand sculpted from beautiful and strong Ashe. This is an extremely unique hatchet that will stand out at any campsite.
